I’ve lived in Alaska since 1996 and made it up to the North Slope for the first time this spring. The weather was brutally cold — between -40 and -30 all three days — but what an amazing place. Happy to report no major problems with my gear (Nikon D700, D200, Sony SR11). As expected, the software (me) was more likely to fail before any of the equipment.
